Buzz In: What Is the Scariest Movie You’ve Ever Seen?
Oct 31st

‘Tis the season (and now the day!) to be scared out of your mind! While some people might be headed out to party the night away, many folks will get together to watch terrifying movies tonight. Of course, what scares people in movies varies from person to person. The suspense of a movie like Psycho turns some into a ball of nerves. For others, the idea of being possessed by a demonic spirit, as in the classic scary movie The Exorcist, will do the trick.
Personally, I still feel a chill down my spine when I think of the creepy, snowed-in hotel in Stephen King’s The Shining and I’d prefer to not even talk about 28 Days Later because it was too traumatizing. Now it’s your turn: What is hands-down the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
What Grey’s Anatomy Relationship Is Your All-Time Favorite?
Oct 31st

With hot doc McArmy back on the scene in Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy, I got to thinking about all the (many) Grey’s relationships both past and present. Sure, the joke is always that everyone at Seattle Grace has slept with each other — and OK, it’s mostly true — but hey, some of them have had relationships outside the hospital, too! Some of the pairings worked out better than others, but even the doomed ones were often intriguing, so tell me: Which Grey’s relationship is your favorite of all time?

Jon Hamm to Meet Liz Lemon on 30 Rock
Oct 30th

I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high, because 30 Rock already made my heart soar once this Fall and then went and smashed it into a million pieces. But! If this were to happen, it would be even more amazing than the Gossip Girl crossover: Jon Hamm is in talks to guest-star on 30 Rock as a potential love interest for Liz Lemon.
The plan, apparently, is for Hamm to be around for multiple episodes playing Liz’s neighbor (and possible more-than-just-neighbor). That would put the lead actress from TV’s best comedy (well, according to the Emmys, anyway) and the lead actor from TV’s best drama together. On the same show! Possibly kissing!
Thanks to Saturday Night Live, we’ve now seen just how funny Jon Hamm can be. And combined with Tina Fey, it sounds like comedy gold to me. What do you think?
America’s Next Top Model Quiz: “Planes, Trains, and Slow Automobiles”
Oct 30th
Woohoo, America’s Next Top Model has landed in Amsterdam, and the girls are divided as a house and back to doing photo shoots! Things are good and dramatic in Tyra-land, my friends.

So let’s see. It’s Elina, Analeigh, and Marjorie vs. McKey, Sheena, and Samantha. Kind of hilarious sides, if you ask me, with the first group being moody and cliquey and “born in Europe”-y and the second being, well, a little bonkers and a little dense but totally sweet. Personally, I love it and think it makes for great TV.
So how closely were you watching the girls’ antics abroad last night? You can check out the rest of the pics from last night’s episode, but first, take my quiz!

Sound Off: A Beatles Video Game?
Oct 30th

No, it’s not going to be another Rock Band game, though it may not be too far off. MTV Networks is teaming with Harmonix and the Beatles’ Apple Corps Ltd. to develop a video game “based solely and exclusively on the entire Beatles catalog.” Billboard has more details:
The game is designed to take users on an “experiential journey” through the Beatles’ career, music and vision. It will also include new types of interactive gameplay associated with the Beatles’ imagery in addition to its music. Surviving members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison, are involved in the vision and creative direction.
The music will come from master recordings of the Beatles’ U.K. releases, but will not be remixed or remastered.
Apple Corps CEO Jeff Jones went on to emphasize that this announcement “was in no way meant as a precursor to the Beatles’ catalog arriving at digital music services.”
What do you think of this news? Many of you found it blasphemous when there was Beatles night on American Idol — should the video game industry also just leave them alone? Or is a video game just a video game, no big deal?
Private Practice Rundown: Episode Four, “Past Tense”
Oct 30th

Well, now Naomi and Sam have really made Addison mad, and she’s had it up to here with all the dysfunction at the office. She is still jogging alone and gets all pumped up on this week’s Private Practice to do something about how icky going to work feels. She’s successful in persuading the rest of the office to confront those two, because they too are sick of the bitter divisions within Oceanside Wellness. Well, Naomi and Sam aren’t into setting their differences aside and instead decide it’s best to campaign for the votes of the staff to decide who will be in charge. Thus begins a nifty election-themed episode full of timely metaphors! To see my thoughts,
