Beyoncé is key to Tia’s destiny
A British singer who has penned a song for Beyoncé Knowles hopes the track will catapult her to stardom.
Tia Jean, 18, was offered a record contract after she was heard singing in the street last year.
And it would be music to her ears if former Destiny’s Child singer Knowles chooses to use the song she wrote on her next album.
Tia’s debut track, Walk Away, was named record of the week on BBC1Xtra and has been played on Kiss FM.
She also traveled to New York, where she wrote songs with Salaam Remi, a collaborator with Amy Winehouse.
Tia refused to name the track she wrote for Knowles but said: ‘I don’t want to say too much but it would be amazing if she chose it for her album.’
Knowles’s debut album, Dangerously In Love, sold 12million copies worldwide and she has had a string of No.1 hits, including Crazy In Love.
