Beyonce wins an award at the Soul Train awards
Beyonce won an award. No its still not for her acting skills, she won the BEST R&B/SOUL SINGLE, FEMALE for her song “Irreplaceable”.
What awards do you think we are talking about? The Soul Train Music Awards ( ***applauds and cheers*** to that ). They took place over the weekend without much pre-show hype and with very little of the award recipients in attendance.
Beyonce of course wasn’t present to take the COVETED 
award. She was busy in New York shooting a commercial for Samsung cell phones. An appearance at the ceremony would’ve been awkward anyway, as her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, LeToya Luckett, was hosting the show with Omarion.
