Fashion Do: Kelly Rutherford
May 17th
Adults are typically best when ignored and politely tolerated, but today I must admit that I’m positively inspired by Kelly Rutherford‘s crisp, chic look at the Sheraton Social Hour launch party in NYC. If your clique turns up in brights and neon, take a cue from Kel and opt for a mix of whites and neutrals to truly stand out and rightly steal the spotlight. You know you love me…XOXO.

Scene & Heard: Zac Efron Shares His Romantic Side
Apr 23rd
“Write a song … or do a painting. Those are more up my alley. They’re more personal.” – Zac Efron dishes on the most romantic thing he’s ever done for a girl. Z, I don’t care if made a macaroni portrait of me–I’d still call you my prince charming.
What’s the most swoon-worthy thing a gent has done for you darlings?

Fashion Don’t: Zac Efron

I spied Zac Efron strolling around SoHo in this joutfit–an all jeans outfit–ahead of the NYC premiere of his delicious new flick The Lucky One. While the movie is getting fairly terrible reviews for lack of chemistry, Z insists that he and costar Taylor Schilling had “great” on-screen sparks.
Quite frankly, I don’t care if he’s making out with a garden rake, as long as he’s doing it in the shower or shirtless…especially if it means never wearing this trucker-esque jacket again.
Le sigh, darlings. At least he puts the hot in hot mess…XOXO.

Hot Mess: Katy Perry’s Blue Hair
Mar 23rd
Katy Perry’s blue break-up bob was cute and sassy (sort of)…for about three days. But now, washed out and murky, her color is starting to lose it’s shine in every sense of the word. And this odd, bowl-shaped updo at last night’s Echo Awards in Berlin wasn’t doing her any favors, either.
Is it time for K.Per to return to a more natural look? Or at the very least, stop getting her hair inspiration from a souffle?

It Girls of the Week: Grammy Goddesses
Feb 18th
In honor of Gossip Girl author Cecily von Ziegesar’s series It Girl, each week we celebrate the women who are making headlines. This week, we look at the ladies who are in the spotlight for their acting roles! Check them out below:
- Adele – This powerhouse vocalist was certainly rolling in the deep last Sunday, taking home six out of the six Grammys she was nominated for including: Best Song and Best Album of the Year. Even though this British superstar had recently undergone throat surgery, she still stunned the audience with her live performance of her chart-topping and multiple award winning hit “Rolling in the Deep.”
- Jennifer Hudson – Even though she wasn’t nominated for any awards this year, Jennifer Hudson astounded the audience with a brilliant rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” in a tribute to the late diva. The former American Idol contest took the darkened stage to deliver a goose-bump inducing tribute to the fallen musical icon.
- Rihanna – Newly blonde and looking fabulous, Rihanna tore up the stage with her performance at the Grammys on Sunday. Switching off between the up-beat dance numbers and more mellow acoustic work, RiRi showed everybody how to put on a great show! Not only did Rihanna have a stand-out live performance with Coldplay, she also took home a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “All of the Lights” with Kanye West, Kid Cudi , & Fergie.
This week’s “It Girls” receive the “It Girl” honor for their much talked about performances! Check out more info on The It Girl book “The It Girl” here! And take the poll below to let us know who you think deserves the title of “Ultimate It Girl of the Week!”

Ooh La Luxe: A Valentine’s Day Mocktail
Feb 13th
Champagne is all well and good, but this February 14th, serve your sweetie a healthier–and sexier–beverage. I’m quite fond of the Cupid’s Passion, a fave amongst celebs like Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga. Just mix guava juice with NeuroPassion, which has special vitamins that increase blood flow and promotes a, ahem, playful energy. Garnished with a strawberry carved into a heart and sip your way to a red hot Valentine’s Day, darlings.

Fashion Don’t: Katy Perry’s Break Up Blues
Jan 16th
When one ends a romance, a makeover is often necessary. A fab facial, fresh caramel highlights, or even a little mani/pedi/Botox can do wonders to heal your broken heart. But Katy Perry’s new blue hair hue is beyond even the most extreme break-up bob, and sends her straight into “crazy ex” territory.
Do you think she has a shot of snagging Tim Tebow with a look like this? Or is she right to let her true colors show through?
