Inside Emma & Chord’s Bitter Breakup

Just like her aunt Julia, Emma Roberts may seem like America’s Sweetheart, but I hear all the time about her bitchy, ditch-y behavior, especially where her once-BF Chord Overstreet was concerned.

A spy says she loved to leave him stranded outside events, like the Golden Globes after party on Jan 15, refusing to come outside and fetch him. I also hear that she made fun of his name and would choose her GFs over spending time with Chord. Would you ever leave the Glee hottie hanging?

It Girls of the Week: Best Dressed at Golden Globes!

Claire Danes Golden Globes

In honor of Gossip Girl author Cecily von Ziegesar’s series It Girl, each week we celebrate the women who are making headlines. This week, we look at the ladies who won our vote for the best dressed at the Golden Globes! Check them out below:

  • Claire Danes – Looking stunning in a J. Mendel dress, Claire’s sophisticated look took our breath away when she walked out on the red carpet. And Gossip Girl stylist Eric Daman was in agreement. “I think Claire Danes in the J. Mendel dress really stole it for me,” he said. “I just thought it was perfectly tasteful. It wasn’t too over the top. For who she is and for her age, I just thought she looked fabulous.” Not only did she get our vote for one of the most stunning guests there, she also walked away with a Best Actress Award. Not a bad way to end the evening.
  • Shailene Woodley – Even though she didn’t take home an award for the Supporting Actress category she was nominated for with her role in The Descendents, Shailene looked amazing at the ceremony in her sleeveless silver Marchesa dress. We’ll overlook the fact that she hit up the after-party in “five-finger” shoes!
  • Angelina Jolie – While Brad Pitt can be the perfect accessory for any woman, Angelina held her own at the awards show in an Atelier Versace gown. The splash of red on the top of her one-shoulder dress complimented her other beautiful accessory: a red Christian Louboutin ‘Pharaon’ clutch.

Hot Mess: Kelly Osbourne

Congratulations to Kelly Osbourne who has the dubious distinction of having the worst look of the evening at last night’s Golden Globes. Between her strange grey hair and rocket-shaped dress, Kel was a navy nightmare in Zac Posen catastrophe.

Tell me darlings, should this sartorial sin be enough to get her kicked off the Fashion Police panel for good?

Jake & Taylor Back On?

New day, new drama with Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal. In the wake of the Camilla Belle fiasco, Tay and J.Gyll were spotted on a dinner date in Nashville. After a romantic meal the pair allegedly headed up to Taylor’s apartment and Jake “wasn’t seen leaving anytime soon.” Hmm…don’t you think it’s a little too convenient that Jake cooled things off just in time to avoid taking Taylor to the Golden Globes? Absence may have made his heart grow fonder, but I’d be very careful if I were T-Swift—wouldn’t you?

Jake Gyllenhaal & Camilla Belle? Uh-uh.

Before you put on your Team Taylor shirts and storm Camilla Belle‘s house with torches and pitchforks, you’ll be glad to know that rumors of Camilla and Jake Gyllenhaal getting cozy at the Golden Globes were greatly exaggerated. Let’s hope that Camilla, who famously swiped Joe Jonas from Taylor and inspired her song “Better Than Revenge,” has the good sense to steer very clear of Jake, or anyone else Taylor has dated in the last twelve months (which, by the way, is an impressively long list). Had you gotten caught up in the C + J rumor, too? That’s what I’m here for, people. XOXO

Justin Bieber & Sandra Bullock on the Red Carpet

At Sunday’s Golden Globes, Justin Bieber had his sights set on Hollywood’s hottest prize. No, not one of the glittering awards—Sandra Bullock. The Biebs made a beeline for Sandy on the red carpet and politely introduced himself, as if there were a chance she’d never heard of him. I think it’s sweet that he doesn’t presume to be known by Hollywood A-Listers. Though honestly, now that he’s trimmed his bangs, I barely recognize him myself.

Anne Hathaway Goes Gay for Glee

Forget the Beverly Hilton or P.Diddy’s yacht—the set of Glee is where all of Hollywood wants to be. Anne Hathaway has signed on to play Kurt’s lesbian aunt, a role she and the producers decided on backstage at the Golden Globes. Now let’s play a little fantasy casting ourselves—who would you get to play her lesbian lover? I vote for Katie Holmes so they can kiss and make up. It just feels right.

Fashion Don’ts: The Weekend’s Worst

From the Golden Globes, to the Critics’ Choice, to the BAFTAs—with award show season in full swing, celebs are dressing to impress. Some have dazzled, but some have fallen victim to what I call “The Overdo” . . . outfits with potential, ruined by too much of  a good thing. Flip though my gallery of red carpet pics to see for yourself.

Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis‘ ballerina days in Black Swan are over. So isn’t it about time she says good-bye to these ballet-inspired shoes?

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jen, I love white satin sheets too—but please refrain from stitching them to an otherwise chic LBD.

Halle Berry

On anyone else, a dress that attempts to be both short and floor-length all at once would be a total miss. Does Halle Berry‘s flawless figure make this Nina Ricci work?

Michelle Williams

From Dianna Agron‘s blush J. Mendel dress to Carrie Underwood‘s champagne Badgley Mischka, pale gowns were all the rage at the Golden Globes. But is Michelle Williams‘ embroidered, beige Valentino on trend—or just plain tacky? You tell me.

January Jones

This red Versace number certainly made January Jones stand out—but did you really need to see this much of her Golden Globes?
