Pinterest Inspiration Board: Serena van der Woodsen’s Style
Mar 27th
Want to steal Serena van der Woodsen’s style? Karissa Bowers of GossipGirlFashion.net created an exclusive Pinterest board for us to showcase looks inspired by S.
Serena formerly wore flowy pieces to reflect her free spirit, but she has moved on to a more grown-up version of that look. She often wears pieces embellished with sequins or beads. Serena’s color palette generally consists of warm colors in the fall and pastel colors for the spring. Her shoes are often snakeskin or studded. Look for pieces with those features to get Serena’s look.
Check out some of the pieces Karissa found in the gallery below. For the full inspirational board, check out Gossip Girl on Pinterest!

Pinterest Inspiration Board: Blair Waldorf’s Style
Mar 26th
Want to steal Blair Waldorf’s style? Karissa Bowers of GossipGirlFashion.net created exclusive Pinterest boards for us to showcase looks inspired by the Queen B.
Blair Waldorf has evolved from wearing school uniforms accessorized with headbands to sophisticated pieces to suit her high society style. Blair often wears structured pieces, floral patterns or clothes with lace details. She favors high-waisted skirts and shift dresses and frequently pairs them with bow tie pumps or oxford pumps. To get Blair’s style, look for pieces that are architectural and would suit an almost-princess like Blair.

Nina Dobrev’s Payleyfest Fashion Mess
Mar 12th
Sometimes, two rights make a wrong. Nina Dobrev stepped out to Paleyfest in L.A. wearing this awkward gown from fellow fashionista Rachel Zoe. Part tweed, part prom dress, Zoe’s latest creation is all awful. Even worse? Nina’s out-of-season strappy Jimmy Choos. Take a good long look at this style and tell me if this Vampire Diaries star–and Ms. Zoe–should go back to the fashion drawing board…XOXO.

Ooh La Luxe: Orange Crush
Mar 2nd
Spring is just around the corner darlings, and every good It Girl, from Blake Lively to Taylor Swift, knows that now is the time to spruce up your post-winter wardrobe–not Memorial Day. May I suggest scooping up a few pieces in this season’s ultimate on-trend color, tangerine. A pair of cropped skinnies, such as these Ernest Sewn Harlan Crop Twill pants, can punch up your style without making you feel like a walking carafe of OJ.
For accessories, steer clear of dark details and baubles unless you want to look like a harbinger of Halloween. I adore Tacori’s geranium-colored ring, $2,020. Will you be orange crushing on spring’s biggest trend?

Serena’s Boots Are Made For Walking: Get the Look!

Loved the style in the latest episode? GossipGirlFashion.net shows you how to get one of the looks for less:
In Season 5, Episode 16 of Gossip Girl, “Cross Rhodes”, most of the characters were seen in coats and scarves. Ivy wore a multi-print houndstooth coat, while Blair wore a Diane Von Furstenberg coat over a Milly skirt. Serena’s cousin Lola donned a headband for her portrayal of Blair in a play adaptation of Dan’s novel, Inside.
My favorite look of the episode was Serena’s black coat and Autumn Cashmere scarf worn with Jimmy Choo ‘Enford’ glitter boots. With her outfit she carried the Fendi Chameleon satchel which sells for $2,490.00. You can get the look of Serena’s boots with the Rsvp ‘Evianna’ sequin boots that are $74.99.

OMFGorgeous: Zoe Saldana
Feb 19th
I must admit that precious few starlets dazzled me during NY Fashion Week, but thankfully Zoe Saldana was there to put a twinkle in my eagle eye. I spied her front row (obvs) at the Prabal Gurung show, wearing the designer (double obvs) and Sydney Evan jewels. True, her shiny, floral cigarette pants would look atrocious on a curvier girl, but the leggy lady manages to pull it off, flawlessly.
Would you try to pull off a tres difficile look like this?

Taylor Momsen, is That You?
Feb 16th
Spotted: Someone who looked suspiciously like a Taylor Momsen impersonator at the Marchesa fashion week presentation in NYC. But no my loves, surely this could not be the panda-eyed, stripper shoed teen that we’re used to seeing flashing her lady bits on stage with her band…could it? Why, T looks almost healthy and womanly in this luxe lace gown. Quelle surprise!
Could this really be our fair Little J, all grown up? Or is this polished style just a brief departure until her bondage bustier gets back from the dry cleaner?

Loved the style in the latest episode? GossipGirlFashion.net shows you how to get one of the looks for less:
In Gossip Girl’s Valentine’s Day episode, “Crazy, Cupid Love”, viewers got a flashback of the character’s former wardrobe staple; plaid uniform skirts. Nate’s Spectator party was high-schooled themed so Serena and Georgina were seen wearing French Toast skirts, while Blair broke the dress code by wearing a Reem Acra Resort 2012 gown. Even Lola/Charlie Rhodes looked school-appropriate wearing a tie for her cater-waiter uniform, plus high knee socks and a sweater vest that could easily be part of a school uniform.
My favorite look of this episode was Georgina’s take on the Constance Billard uniform skirt. Georgina wore a white silk top with her skirt and accessorized with a RichRocks NYC JetSet Chain necklace (available for only $45!), Sequin NYC rhinestone link necklace and a black blazer. Get Georgina’s look with Forever 21′s long lapel blazer for $29.80 and Heritage 1981′s classic woven top for $19.90.
