Her new show Smash may be just that, but Katharine McPhee still needs a little help in the wardrobe department. The American Idol alum turned up at the Escape Total Rewards bash in NYC committing a cardinal fashion sin by pairing her embroidered dress with clashing patterned tights. Because her frock’s embroidery was at the hemline, it competed with the stockings, making this outfit look mismatched and confusing.
