I spied LC ringing in her 26th birthday with 38-year-old Stephen, but I hear that she’s taking things slow with the notorious Hollywood playboy. Pals insist that they’re only hooking up which for The Hills starlets’ sake, I hope is true. Why darlings? Two words: Lauren Dorff. Shudder!

If you love full skirts but never know what to pair them with, take a cue from Lauren Conrad whose creamy button-up perfectly compliments her violet skirt. Dressier than a tee, but still casual and cool, a peasant blouse or silk blouson goes perfectly with spring’s waist-high skirts and shorts. My only gripe with LC’s look at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood event? Her ghostly skin! I’m all for SPF 1 trillion, but Lauren please make bronzer your friend. For me? XOXO

When you’ve been spotting celebrities as long as I have, you notice the little things . . . like the way Lauren Conrad has mastered using makeup. Back in 2007, she could have gotten lost in a crowd looking pretty in pearls. Three short years later, LC is glowing like a true It Girl. The harsh lighting in the first pic doesn’t help—but neither picture has been Photoshopped. Isn’t it remarkable what a little press powder can do?
