What’s It Like To Be On Gossip Girl?

Ever wonder what it’d be like to be on Gossip Girl? When we found out that the newest host of Gurl.com’s Sexy Times Sara Hoots had a scene with Chace Crawford in one episode (“Belles de Jour”), we asked her to give us all the dirt!
How She Got The Part – I was recommended to the casting director of Gossip Girl through the work I did on White Collar. From there I was called in to audition. I feel super lucky to have gotten the part considering the amazing girls that were in that room!
What It Was Like On Set – I was super excited to get to set since this was my first (hopefully not last) time working for this series. It’s a whole lot of hurry up and wait when you’re there, though. But luckily I have the patience of a saint and the attention span of a gold fish so I can easily keep myself entertained waiting for my call time. The scene took place at Nate’s apartment, so when we began blocking out the scene it was really cool to see how it looked sitting from Nate’s couch!
What It Was Like Working With Chace Crawford – Quick! Lol! Honestly, it was probably the shortest and easiest day I’ve ever had on set (just my luck, right?) But he was amazing! It’s always nice to see when someone looks just as good in person as they do on a show.
The Scene – My scene was meant to get Nate in trouble with a girl he was trying to impress. A girl he was trying to convince he wasn’t a player, to be more specific! So when he came home, I was already there with a girlfriend of mine and we were rocking on Guitar Hero in our skivvies after what was obviously a fun night…Well, it probably wouldn’t have been awkward [being in my bra and panties] if it was just Chace…but with the large production crew, it got a little intimidating having to dance around!
Advice For Being Confident and Sexy – You can’t be sexy if you aren’t confident! And honestly, a girl who is more subtle in her sensuality is much more sexy than a girl who is putting it all out there. And also, never pretend to be something you’re not! If you’re talking to a cute guy who is a huge football fan, do not go in to how you’re “one of the guys” who love watching the game and drinking a beer….when the only tight end you know belongs to Chace Crawford! Nothing is sexier to a guy then owning who you are! Also, when it comes to being confidently sexy. I truly believe the more confident girls are about themselves and their bodies, the better decisions they’ll make when it comes to relationships and sex. It’s important to know that some guy doesn’t validate who you are!

First and foremost, I do a lot of research from recent studies at various universities and major campaigns. And while I do get some from my own personal experiences, I get a lot of sound advice from my parents….I KNOW! My parentals! It’s not up to me to make your decisions in life, but I want to inform you to the best of my abilities so you will make the best choice for YOU! What’s It Like To Be On Gossip Girl?
Get Serena’s Look “Return of the Ring” Look for Less

In the Gossip Girl season finale, “The Return of the Ring,” Blair Waldorf wore two Naeem Khan dresses. The first was a Dot Cocktail dress which retails for $3790 and the second dress was a beaded orange gown from the Spring 2012 collection. Blair accesorized the orange gown with a Salvatore Ferragamo Minaudiere bag. Serena van der Woodsen wore a Reed Krakoff colorblock coat with an Emily Cho oversized fold clutch before attending the Shepard divorce party.

My favorite look of the episode was Serena’s red ruffle top she wore with her Elizabeth and James floral skirt which sells for $265. She paired the skirt with yellow Jimmy Choo ‘Abel’ pumps. You can get the look of Serena’s top with Forever 21′s surplice cami for only $15.

In honor of Gossip Girl author Cecily von Ziegesar’s series It Girl, each week we celebrate the women who are making headlines. This week, we’re looking at some of the stars who shined at the television upfronts! Check out the TV queens below!

- Kat Graham – The Vampire Diaries star looked stunning at the CW upfront, wearing a sexy thigh-high split skirt with a black top and studded clutch. She was also one of the few stars that greeted fans outside, making some TVD viewers and supporters of her music career very, very happy.
- Vanessa Williams – The star of Alloy Entertainment‘s newest series 666 Park Avenue shined on the red carpet at the ABC upfront after-party, but the real buzz is her new show. Her character on the supernatural series looks deliciously devious, and the show is from the same people who brought you Gossip Girl (so, expect lots of juicy drama and plot twists!)
- Demi Lovato – It was announced this week that Demi will be joining Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, and L.A. Reid on the judges’ panel for Fox’s “The X Factor.” Demi is hopefully going to make a positive comeback after her stint in rehab, and we’re excited to see what kind of criticism she has to offer, considering her whole Seventeen magazine movement “Love is Louder Than The Pressure To Be Perfect.”

Gossip Girl Fans React To Blair Choosing Chuck
May 15th
In “The Return of the Ring,” the season 5 finale of Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf made her decision about being with Chuck Bass over Dan Humphrey. Chuck and Blair aren’t 100% together though. Bart Bass told Chuck that he’s too obsessed with Blair to run a successful business, making Chuck rethink his love for B. And when she tells him she wants to be with him, he says “I always put you first, and you bet against me every time.”
Then, at the end of the episode, we see Blair joining Chuck at a casino. She sits next to him, places some chips forward and says, “You said I always bet against you, but this time I’m all in.”

Gossip Girl Fans React To Blair Choosing Chuck
New Clip From “The Return of the Ring”
May 10th
The Gossip Girl season 5 finale “The Return of the Ring” is happening on Monday, May 14, 2012, and we’ve got a juicy new clip from the episode to share. Remember when Gossip Girl stole Serena‘s laptop and reclaimed her territory of being the only one posting the dirtiest dirt about everyone? Well, Serena had some of Blair‘s diary entries on that computer, and GG will stop at nothing to wreck havoc on S and B’s lives.
In this episode, Blair confronts Serena about the privacy breach and then realizes she needs to do damage control before everyone in her life is hurt by what she said about them in her diary. So, she calls in Dorota who adorably says, “Every damming thing since grade school is a lot of damming.”

Season Finale Preview: “The Return of the Ring”

“You’re still in love with Chuck and you still won’t admit it.” – Serena to Blair in this week’s season finale of Gossip Girl “The Return of the Ring.”
From the preview below, we know that the ring Chuck got Blair and then returned to Harry Winston is back. And executive producer Joshua Safran told us that the decision Blair makes her final decision over Chuck and Dan in this episode.
Also, the war between Serena and Blair after Gossip Girl released B’s diary entries that S had stolen is getting even more heated. Will Blair scheme to have Serena’s dirt released to Gossip Girl? Will Serena seduce Dan to get back at Blair?
