I very rarely want to copy anything associated with Kristen Stewart–I wore Chuck Taylors once on a dare for 10 minutes and nearly died of shame–but I must admit that the bracelets she sported at the Snow White and the Huntsman press day in Mexico City are rather…covetable. I adore her 18 carat gold spiked Anita Ko bangle paired with BaubleBar’s neon ID bracelet–a great way to mix trends without looking overloaded.
Will you steal this style from K-Stew? Or did her most recent antics leave a permanent stain on her red carpet rep?

In honor of Gossip Girl author Cecily von Ziegesar’s series It Girl, each week we celebrate the women who are making headlines. This week, we’re looking at some of the stars who shined at the television upfronts! Check out the TV queens below!

- Kat Graham – The Vampire Diaries star looked stunning at the CW upfront, wearing a sexy thigh-high split skirt with a black top and studded clutch. She was also one of the few stars that greeted fans outside, making some TVD viewers and supporters of her music career very, very happy.
- Vanessa Williams – The star of Alloy Entertainment‘s newest series 666 Park Avenue shined on the red carpet at the ABC upfront after-party, but the real buzz is her new show. Her character on the supernatural series looks deliciously devious, and the show is from the same people who brought you Gossip Girl (so, expect lots of juicy drama and plot twists!)
- Demi Lovato – It was announced this week that Demi will be joining Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, and L.A. Reid on the judges’ panel for Fox’s “The X Factor.” Demi is hopefully going to make a positive comeback after her stint in rehab, and we’re excited to see what kind of criticism she has to offer, considering her whole Seventeen magazine movement “Love is Louder Than The Pressure To Be Perfect.”

A dress is only half the battle when it comes to winning the red carpet. One must also take into account hair, makeup, and of course skin tone. While I’m obsessed with Leighton Meester’s tulle Marchesa confection, dark lips and swept back hair, I’m wondering if her usually pale pallor would have worked better with the beige dress? What do you think?

Meet Lauren Conrad’s (Normal) New Boyfriend

Between Stephen Dorff and Brody Jenner, The Hills star Lauren Conrad hasn’t always had the best luck with boys. But now it seem like our little LC has found a man she can depend on, ex-Something Corporate guitarist William Tell. The 32-year-old former musician is now a law student at USC, and I hear that he and LC have been coupled up for a few months and she really hopes he’s the one.
Can you picture Lauren being happy with a man who’d rather hit the books than the red carpet?

Amber Riley’s Scary Red Carpet Collapse

Spotted: Glee star Amber Riley in a heap on the ground at the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences event in LA. Our little Mercedes later tweeted that her fainting spell was the result of too many flashbulbs at once, but could something more sinister be going on, say, a crash diet that’s leaving her lightheaded? Or is my uber-imagination just working overtime?

Just as there is a subtle yet tres important difference between sexy and skanky, confident and arrogant, and aloof and icy, when it comes to a gentleman’s suit there is a difference between sheen and shine. Poor Chris Colfer crossed this line at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere for his new movie, Struck By Lightning. The Glee star looked more like an Elvis impersonator than the flick’s writer/star.
Should CC tone down the flamboyance, at least where his red carpet style is concerned?

If you thought Audrina Patridge was effortlessly gorgeous, think again. The Hills star admitted that she spends two and a half hours to get red carpet ready–30 minutes for makeup, 120 for hair. So the girls at XOJane.com forced AP to dial down the glamour for a new makeunder. I must admit that I do like Audrina fresh faced–but it looks like she can’t quite let go of those lip injections, n’est ce pas? XOXO

I understand that Victoria Justice leads a very busy life–but that’s no reason for her to look like she’s en route to a business meeting on the Kids’ Choice Awards red carpet. This boxy, beyond unflattering outfit does nothing for Vic’s stunning figure, and the too-bright color looks cheap.
The look might have been salvageable if she had undone a button on that prudish blouse and swapped the mud-colored booties for some luxe heels. But with a style this stuffy and stiff, there’s no way it could be Victorious…XOXO.
