Dan and Blair’s Kiss at The Met
Feb 7th
Spotted: Blair bolting from the Met, but it’s not Chuck nor Louis who’s helping her make her exodus. None other than Lonely Boy was behind B’s mad dash, and I hear that they finished their flight with a serious lip lock. Could Blair’s love life be making another right turn, this time into (gasp!) Brooklyn? XOXO

New Couple Alert: Zac Efron & Lily Collins?
Feb 6th
From Taylor Swift to Demi Moore, Zac Efron certainly seems to be capturing the hearts Hollywood’s elite. Now I hear that Zefron is squiring Lily Collins around, even taking her to dinner at LA eatery STK. However, he seemed desperate to keep the date under wraps as he literally dove into his car to avoid being seen, but little Lily took her time and happily smiled for photogs.
Could Z be embarrassed to be seen with Lil? Tell me your thoughts on this possible new duo in the comments…XOXO.

Cecily von Ziegesar Recaps the 100th Episode of Gossip Girl
Feb 1st
Who better to recap each week’s new episode of Gossip Girl than author Cecily von Ziegesar? In this week’s edition, she talks about her theory on Blair’s wedding outfit and that Georgina’s Gossip Girl reveal might not be what it seems.
Hey people,
I don’t know about you but it took me a night or two of fitful sleep to process what went down on Monday. Not sure I’ll ever fully process all of it, because it was a lot. I might seek professional help or medication or maybe I should just start my own blog…. Anyway, enough about me, let’s analyze the craziness.
My wedding outfit theory:
Of course the wedding would turn out to be an ill-fated sham, I could tell right away. Not because Blair was totally marrying the wrong guy, but because of the dresses and hairdos. I know I’m supposed to get all gooey over Blair in her wedding dress, but she wouldn’t have worn her hair so long and unkempt-looking and so much blue eye shadow if the wedding was meant to be. She would have had her hair combed into a sleek up-do, with pearly, natural makeup. And Serena wouldn’t have worn baby pink or visible underwires unless she totally knew she was about to become the most meddlesome maid of honor in history. If the wedding had been blessed, the bridesmaids would’ve worn flattering dresses, not puffballs of peony pink. And the boys would not have had their hair combed back to make them look old and unhandsome. Watch, when Blair finally marries the man she loves, the whole picture will be edible.
Favorite villainous appearance:
Georgina. Sheee’s back!!! She steals the show with her evil ways every time. This time she stole the words right out of Gossip Girl’s mouth. I have the feeling we haven’t untwisted the whole GG pretzel here though, if you know what I mean. Georgina has quite a bag of tricks and all may not be as it seems.
Favorite moment/line:
I have to say, I’m a romantic. I loved the do-over moment when Dan looks up and sees Serena looking down at him and smiling. It was totally reminiscent of that scene in the Palace Hotel in episode one. And then I loved it when Serena says, “I love you Dan Humphrey, always have, always will,†knowing that he won’t reciprocate. I like it when Serena’s humble, because it’s so rare.
Favorite dress:
Georgina as a choir boy. Although I’m bummed I didn’t get to see Chuck in that get-up.
Favorite hairstyle:
I have to say the evil priest’s hair made me giggle every time. It looked like it was combed with a rake dripping with hair gel. Where was he ordained — becomeapriestonthejerseyshore.com?
Favorite wedding guest:
The whole lot get props for maintaining their composure during what turned out to be the craziest wedding any of them has ever attended, but I have to say I loved seeing Cyrus Rose again. He always lends a dapper elegance to every occasion, and makes us all feel a little smarter simply by being there.
Most ominous music:
That song when Blair and Louis are at the altar for the second time, really going through with it. We might have been at a funeral. We might have been bleeding to death. That song just made me wanna die.
OK, now I’m depressed. But the good thing is, things can only get better, right? There are so many messes, we just have to sit back and watch them… turn into bigger messes!
You know you love it.

Cougar Alert: Demi Hits on Zac Efron…and Victoria Justice’s BF!
Feb 1st
Young Hollywood better watch out. Before landing herself in rehab, Demi Moore had Zac Efron in her crosshairs. My minions tell me that she constantly called and texted Z, who is pals with her daughter Rumer, but Zac wasn’t interested in the “creepy cougar.”
I also know that 49-year-old D spent an evening embarrassing Ru once again, this time grinding against Ryan Rottman, who’s GF just happens to be Victoria Justice! Tell me, does Demi have a shot of Botox in hell of landing yet another young lover or is it time for her to date in her own AARP age bracket?

- “Sticks and stones may just break bones, but the wounds from words never heal. Especially when they’re words we hoped we’d never read.”
- “Often all it takes to find a new path is to make a sharp turn and see what you find. But beware. Sometimes what you’re faced with is a dead end.”
- “The thing about expectations is most of the time, someone else sets them for you. Yet you feel like they’ve been there all along. And you can’t wait to live up to them. But just because you know what’s expected of you doesn’t mean you still can’t surprise everyone.”
- “You often find, what you least expect is right in front of you. Waiting to change everything forever. Whether you want to or not.”
- “They say blood is thicker than water. But it’s also a lot harder to clean up when it spills.”

- “Face your fears and the rewards can be profound. You can discover the true depth of a relationship. Or what you’re capable of withstanding. The problem is, the more you gain, the more you stand to lose.”
- “That’s the thing about writing what you know. Soon everybody else knows it too.”
- “They say the road of life is long and winding. So it’s important to mark the milestones along the way.”

Scene & Heard: Why Kendall Jenner Might Skip College
Jan 25th
“She’ll probably have a career by the time she’s out of high school. If that’s what she wants to do, that’s good. I don’t know if college is going to be that important for her.” – Bruce Jenner admitted that higher education wasn’t a top priority for his 16-year-old model daughter, Kendall.
The Kardashian clan certainly has their fare share of questionable judgment calls, but this one takes the cake, darlings. In the oh-so-unlikely event that Kendall isn’t the next Heidi Klum, should KJ have a backup plan that doesn’t involve living off Kim’s millions?

Cecily Von Ziegesar Recaps “The End of the Affairâ€
Jan 18th
Who better to recap each week’s new episode of Gossip Girl than author Cecily von Ziegesar? In this week’s edition, she talks about the emotional distress the episode gave her and chooses the dress that dazzled her most.
I don’t know about you, but last night I went into a sort of trance while watching. Not that I don’t always go into a fascinated, Campari-induced trance, but I just couldn’t believe that we were already out of the hospital and the wedding was going ahead as planned and no one running around freaking out like the world was ending. Even Chuck was sort of calm about the fact that he had almost died and then come to only to find that Blair wanted nothing to do with him. And what’s with Blair and God? Is she going to become a nun? Are they all still in shock? I know I am. I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again. This goes beyond drama. This feels like brain freeze — a pleasurable brain freeze (like the kind you get from amazingly good, really cold ice cream).
High point(s): there are actually two:
- Dan and Serena’s New Year’s eve kiss. I knew it was coming and I thought I’d be sort of “ho-hum†about it. But the spark is still there and I loved their alarmed expressions afterwards which I think were REAL, if you know what I mean. Like, not acted?
- Vera Wang’s little guest appearance at her store. She’s so beautiful and quiet. And what a nice thing to do for your life’s work—design amazing wedding dresses. Sigh.
Low point(s): there are actually two of these as well:
- Blair talking to God all the time. I miss the old spunky Blair and I want her back. But I’d much rather she become a nun than marry Louis. He’s a dweeb.
- The real Charlie Rhodes. She just didn’t do it for me. I thought she’d be more like… Ivy.
Hottest boy: I know I do this almost every time, but Chuck, Dan, and Nate all looked pretty amazing last night. They’re aging well those boys. Very well. And all three of them are nice too. And smart. I should know—I’ve met them. Sigh.
Prettiest look: I loved Serena’s cropped striped cardigan paired with that spangly tutu of a dress right at the start of the show. She looked beautiful, fun and totally hip, which is what I aspire to when I get dressed in the morning (but usually I fail). Of course, most bloggers blog in stained pjs because they don’t actually have to leave the house to work. Not Serena though—she blogs in couture.
Best New Yorky spot you don’t usually see on TV: Julliard. In fact I’ve never seen it at all, me being ungifted in the arts. (Although I hear they offer night school piano lessons for people like me!) So thanks for that sneak peak. It looks nice with the red carpeting and modern chairs. Perhaps I’ll check it out.
Best line: Dan saying to Chuck over and over, “I live in Brooklyn,†which is the line he uses as an excuse for not knowing anything about anything even though he always seems to know everything about everything. Which is sort of like me. Oh, and I live in Brooklyn too.
Can’t wait for next week to boggle my mind.
You know you love it,
xoxo
