Eat Gossip Love
Aug 13th
From chauffeured limo rides to personal jets, C, B, and S vacation in style. But not even your favorite Upper East Siders can match the epic trip Julia Roberts takes in @EatPrayLove. Even I got a touch of travel-envy watching her trek from Italy to India to Bali and beyond. But don’t envy-hate . . . let @EatPrayLove make you feel zen all over. The movie’s mantra is “Let yourself go,” and it’s based on the true story of a woman who took a year off to travel. Where would you go if you could take a year off? Visit the @EatPrayLove fan page to start planning your great escape now.

Summer Lovin’
Jun 25th
Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are Glee‘s most musical couple, but I’ll never concede that they go together like ramma lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John claim that honor . . . and this summer, they’re going to show Gleeks everywhere how it’s done.
Grease is re-releasing in theaters as a sing-a-long. That means you can belt out “Summer Lovin” while you watch—even on the Upper East Side, where movie musical outbursts are typically frowned upon.
Is Grease coming to your city? Find out. And if it’s not, demand it.

The Proof is in the Poof
Apr 16th
While the “Poof” may never make the pages of Vogue, or heaven forbid, make an appearance on the Upper East Side, Snooki’s signature hair move has definitely made its mark. Or at least Snooki seems to think so. Watch and learn, people! In the video below, the Princess of Poughkeepsie proves she doesn’t need any ratty extensions or a plastic apparatus to make her poof pop. Try this at home at your own risk.

S is for Secret

Where will you be at 9/8 central? While most Upper East Side eyes will be turned to B and C as they oh-so-altruistically plan Dorota’s wedding, I’m keeping my gaze on S. B’s maid may be headed toward marital bliss, but do S and N await the same fate…or is something rotten in Museum Mile? Watch “The Unblairable Lightness of Being” tonight and see whether the honeymoon is over for S and N.

Tonight in Manhattan…
Mar 15th
At 9/8 c, the Upper East Side will be sizzling in spite of the chilly weather. Last week’s coat room quickie was just the beginning for S and N…and it looks like D and V could be the next to start a mid-March heatwave. All that and Little J has found herself a dangerous new D. Watch “The Lady Vanished” tonight on the CW…and let’s hope the heat is contagious.

Hey People,
Jan 14th
It’s a beautiful crisp day on the Upper East Side. Sadly, that’s not the case for the residents of Haiti. Before you go out and drop $100 on lunch at Tao, or even think about buying that Valentino handbag from Bergdorf’s, consider what that money could do to benefit a country where thousands have lost their lives and millions have been ravaged by its worst earthquake in 200 years.
Actress/Singer/Philanthropist Selena Gomez has the right idea. As the youth ambassador for UNICEF, Ms. Gomez is encouraging everyone to stop what they are doing and donate. Whether you can give 5 cents or $5 million (I’m looking at you, C,) every little bit counts.
Click here to head to UNICEF and find out what you can do to help.
