Spotted: The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev wearing three fashion don’ts in one: a too tight, too pale, too shiny dress at the CW upfronts in NYC. True, ND has the body to pull off just about anything, and while this look isn’t totally unfortunate, it does nothing to flatter her figure.
But, I’m willing to forgive Nina for this rare fashion misstep since she’s promised that even if her beau Ian Somerhalder lands the lead in Fifty Shades of Grey, she’d never star alongside him in the steamy film. Looks like the part is open to one of you darlings…XOXO.

It’s hard to find any flaw whatsoever with The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder, but this past weekend at Perez Hilton’s “Mad Hatter”-themed birthday party in LA, Ian gave me no choice. I am loathing his too-big, too-uncool newsie cap that not only ruins his otherwise sleek look, but hides his luscious hair, too! And really Damon, doesn’t a jaunty top hat seem more your style?

Sometimes, two rights make a wrong. Nina Dobrev stepped out to Paleyfest in L.A. wearing this awkward gown from fellow fashionista Rachel Zoe. Part tweed, part prom dress, Zoe’s latest creation is all awful. Even worse? Nina’s out-of-season strappy Jimmy Choos. Take a good long look at this style and tell me if this Vampire Diaries star–and Ms. Zoe–should go back to the fashion drawing board…XOXO.

With a beau like Ian Somerhalder on your arm, it’s hard not to outshine everyone else. The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev did just that at Elton John’s Oscar viewing party thanks to this peplum accented, cut out J.Mendel dress. I spied the lovebirds cooing at each other all night long, totally oblivious to the other guests…and less luxe fashion. XOXO.

Listen up Vampire Diaries darlings: I hear that Nina Dobrev freaked out when Ian Somerhalder sweetly and secretly popped the question to her…but not in a good way. Apparently 23-year-old Nina thinks she’s way too young to be a wife–even if it is to someone as sinfully delicious as Ian–and doesn’t want to ruin her chances of being a big star.
Is Nina right to chase her career? Or will ditching Ian be the worst decision of her life?

Can’t wait for the winter premiere of Gossip Girl next week? This might hold you over until you can get your fix! The producers of your fave Upper East Side drama have launched a new web series called Dating Rules From My Future Self. The story follows a 20-something app developer (played by Shiri Appleby) who starts receiving texts from her future self that guide her through dating. Wouldn’t an app like this really benefit some of GG’s characters (*cough, Blair!)?
Also in the series is Taylor Kinney from The Vampire Diaries and Bryce Johnson from Pretty Little Liars. There will be a new episode featured on the Dating Rules Facebook page every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Check it out at Facebook.com/DatingRules.
