It’s not very often that you find a man who is as sexy as he is altruistic. But Ian Somerhalder is just such a specimen, and is urging President Obama to prevent the uber-polluting Keystone XL pipeline from being built. Our vampire-turned-eco-warrior says that the oil pipeline, which will run from Canada to Texas, is tres toxic to mother earth, and I’m inclined to agree. Where I come from VPL (visible panty line) is a four-letter word, but giving the world an eyeful of your granny panty shapewear is infinitely, immeasurably worse. That’s why I won’t even poke fun at poor Taylor Swift who had a Marilyn Monroe moment gone wrong during her recent show and flashed her audience. Kudos to Tay for not missing a note and for bothering to wear undies in the first place. Which popstar could you picture going commando in concert?

Ah, soccer season–what could be better than taut, toned international male athletes out and about for the world to see? I spied one of my personal favorites, Cristiano Ronaldo, as he headed to training in LA (the dreamy soccer superstar is on tour with his team, Real Madrid). Cristiano’s piercing stare alone is enough to make me weak at the knees. He’s also the only man I know who looks hot in knee-high socks. What do you think?
